Who are we?
Chorus Semper Viret was founded by a group of about 40 experienced choral singers, ex members of the Cercle Musical de St Marcel, conducted by Joseph Pistorio, which after 50 years dedicated to music, has its place in the history of the town of Vernon. The choral society was created in 1999 and started being active in February 2000. Six seasons and many concerts later, Chorus Semper Viret is now part of the musical scene in Vernon. It has been directed by Marc Sieffert since 2003.
Chorus Semper Viret , a four register choir, performs during music festivals,
in association with charity events, for private or public occasions
and also organises concerts with soloists and orchestra, particularly
during musical exchanges with the
Bad Kissingen Kantorei in Bavaria.

What we have to offer
Our programme rests mainly on a long musical tradition from all horizons whether secular or religious from the Renaissance to modern days: traditional works, negro spirituals, contemporary works, musicals, operettas, classical works, religious music etc…..
